MISSION
Improve lives through personal growth.
Our purpose is not to sell financial products. We exist to reduce financial uncertainty, broaden choices and help each person choose their own life. We engage with the person’s life as a whole.
KAMUITOKAMUITO Inc.FINANCE. GROWTH. POSSIBILITIES.
Financial confidence. A life that feels like yours.
Thoughtful support for the choices ahead.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
KAMUITO is a coined name inspired by the Ainu words “kamuy” (deity) and “to” (lake). We define it as “a presence that protects what matters.”
The name reflects our admiration for an Ainu worldview in which all beings are equal, and our image of the lake as a place where life begins. With respect for people and nature, we support what matters to you and the possibilities ahead.
MISSION
Our purpose is not to sell financial products. We exist to reduce financial uncertainty, broaden choices and help each person choose their own life. We engage with the person’s life as a whole.
VISION
We want more people to make choices based on how they want to live, rather than simply following the expectations of others. We envision a society where financial anxiety no longer stands in the way of pursuing a life of one’s own.
OUR SERVICES
As independent FPs, we begin with your needs. Your assigned planner is your point of contact and connects you with specialist institutions when needed.

We start with your life and priorities, not a product sale. Insurers, banks and securities firms each have their own product ranges and areas of expertise. As independent financial planners, we take an impartial view across insurance, deposits, investments and property to consider the protection and choices that genuinely fit your needs.
We discuss your family, work, savings and priorities alongside existing coverage and premiums. We help clarify necessary protection and overlapping coverage so you can make an informed decision.
Examples
Family changes / Retirement preparation / Existing policy review
We review your goals, time horizon and household finances to explore a sustainable approach to saving and investing before considering specific products.
Examples
Education and retirement / Regular savings / Existing assets
Some options are no longer available after an inheritance begins. We encourage early preparation while your wishes can be discussed: family priorities, assets, intended distribution and funds for tax payments. To help prevent family disputes, we connect you with our partner tax accountants who specialize in inheritance.
Alongside tax-saving considerations, we help identify issues you may have overlooked, including potentially relevant allowances and schemes. Individual eligibility decisions and tax filings are handled in coordination with tax professionals.
Examples
Lifetime inheritance planning / Preventing family disputes / Specialist tax referrals / Reviewing available provisions
We welcome questions about rentals, sales, purchases and property investment. For prospective homebuyers, we consider affordability alongside mortgage consultation and refinancing reviews.
Existing property investors are also welcome, including those facing difficulties with studio-apartment investments. Working with specialists, we help obtain current valuations, review rental levels and examine how management companies handle rent revisions and negotiations. Income, borrowing and future repair costs inform discussions about holding or selling and an appropriate exit strategy. Specialist valuations, transactions and disputes are referred to the relevant professionals.
Examples
Rentals, purchases and sales / Mortgage reviews / Property valuations / Rents and management / Investment exit strategies
Starting with the life you want after work, we review expected pensions, living costs, care needs and existing assets. We consider not only how much to accumulate but when and how to draw on different assets. Investment and property exit strategies form part of a retirement plan designed around your future lifestyle.
Examples
Pensions and living costs / Retirement benefits / Asset withdrawals / Investment and property exits
We use the Synthetic Risk and Reward Indicator (SRRI) to consider investment volatility alongside your personal risk tolerance. Your objectives, investment horizon, liquidity needs and capacity to accept losses inform diversification, allocation and concentration reviews. We support portfolio construction and reviews with a focus on an approach you can sustain.
SRRI is based on investment volatility and does not guarantee future outcomes. Personal risk tolerance is assessed separately in light of your circumstances and objectives.
Examples
Risk tolerance / Asset allocation / Concentration review
Without knowledge, choices can remain invisible. Without action, knowledge alone changes little. We create opportunities to learn about financial basics, wealth building, insurance and life planning, including money matters that are easy to overlook. Our aim is to help participants connect learning to their own circumstances, take practical steps and turn experience into usable wisdom.
Examples
Workplace learning / Financial basics / Life-stage topics
We discuss the audience, goals, theme, duration and format of each speaking engagement. We have delivered a talk for Wacoal Corp. (株式会社ワコール) and has addressed more than 100 financial planners at a single speaking engagement.
Examples
Employee talks / FP education / Topic and format planning
With financial information everywhere, the value of a planner goes beyond possessing knowledge. It lies in evaluating information, listening carefully and considering the client’s whole life. We want more planners to combine that expertise with integrity, consistently putting what matters to clients ahead of personal sales or earnings.
When one planner develops, better support can reach clients and their families. Our purpose is to reduce financial anxiety and help people choose their own lives—not simply sell products. Raising the professional value of FPs and financial literacy in Japan is why we invest in development and support for independent practice.
Alongside technical knowledge and consultation skills, we encourage reflection on professional conduct. We help clarify client-facing practice, goals and the challenges of independence, connecting learning with practical preparation for a trusted, lasting career.
Examples
Preparing for independence / Consultation skills / Integrity and trust
Through dialogue, we help you describe your ideals and strengthen your imagination and ability to decide. Personal growth supports choices and action that are your own.

MESSAGE
CSR
JIYU supports education for disadvantaged children overseas.
Stationery and school bags no longer used in Japan become opportunities for children to learn. Educational supplies help connect resources with learning.
We participate in these activities, putting KAMUITO’s commitment to giving into practice through our connection with society.

With information available to everyone, clients can sometimes know more about money than their financial planners. We believe FPs must keep developing their expertise and the professional value they provide.
We share FPC’s commitment to developing highly skilled planners through a nonprofit organization and improving financial literacy in Japan. This approach matters to us because education should not become product-driven sales training.
Professionals from major financial and specialist institutions also participate. We aim to turn that learning into better support for clients.
